About Mahogany Grove
I've always loved candles - the cozy glow, the comforting scents, the way they make a house feel like a home. Commercial candles often left me with headache while burning. I tolerated it for awhile, but when I became pregnant, I knew I didn't want to burn those kinds of candles around my babies.
That's when my journey began. I spent years of researching waxes, wick, and fragrance oils, determined to find a combination that was safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. I tried so many formulas that didn't work - waxes that didn't burn evenly, cotton wicks that left tons of soot, and fragrances that weren't as clean as promised.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally discovered the perfect combination: a luxurious coconut apricot wax blend, truly clean fragrance and essential oil combinations, and crackling wooden wicks made from fast-growing, untreated fruit trees. The result was a clean-burning candle with a soft, cozy crackle that created a whole new level of ambiance.
What started as a personal passion quickly grew. I began making candles for myself, then gifting them to friends, family and teachers. With their encouragement, I turned my hobby into a business - starting with local events, then Etsy, and now our own website.
Over time, withmy daughters, we've added handmade creations that I love - crocheted hats, macrame items, wax melts,and more. Eah one is made with the same care, quality and attention to detail that inspried Mahogany Grove from the very beginning.

Wax, Wicks, + Oils
The coconut wax blend that we use in our candles is natural, vegan, non-toxic, biodegradable, gluten free, paraben free, phthalate free, FDA approved + made in the USA. It burns even, slow + most importantly clean. It has been clinically tested + reviewed by dermatologist to be skin safe. The crackling wooden wicks are ethically sourced and manufactured in the USA with FSC certified wood. There are no fertilizers or pesticides used and the wood is untreated. The wicks burn clean and throw more scent than cotton wicks. Our blend of essential oils and clean burning fragrance oils are phthalate free and made in the USA. Our wax, wicks, and oils are the perfect combination to provide you with a high quality, safe, + clean burning candle that will provide you with hours of your favorite scent flowing throughout your home.

Our candles are carefully crafted to ensure that the scent you choose fills your room with an abundance of aroma. We have all natural lip balms + body cream that we have added to our store. They are made to order and packaged in sealed containers for freshness + safety.
